What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Sol Duc Falls for its breathtaking beauty and the enchanting rainforest hike leading to it. While parking can be challenging and crowds are common, the stunning scenery and refreshing mist make it a highly recommended stop in Olympic National Park.
"The falls are so pretty! - Well worth the short hike through the beautiful forest. Trail is well maintained. The bridge over the falls gets a lot of mist and puddles up, so shoes might get wet if you go to the other side.
There’s an additional place of interest near the falls; a log cabin built for shelter."
Rosemary Williams
"One of my favorite, if not, my favorite waterfall! Very crowded and parking can be tough to come by if you don't come early so just be prepared for that and perhaps a longer jaunt to the trailhead. Relatively easy hike on a trail with some ups and downs (elevation gain), traversing through the gorgeous rainforest. As you get close, you can hear the roar and power of the water through the canyon. It is just one of those waterfalls where you can literally see the power that water can have on an environment, in all the best ways. MUST see hike and views in ONP!"
Leah Bryant
"Pretty crowded but an easy hike to get to the fall in the rain. It’s pretty damp and slippery to prepare accordingly. Parking gets full pretty quickly it was only 9 am when we started and the parking was half full."
