What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Jenkinson's for its clean, family-friendly atmosphere and well-maintained rides, making it a great spot for young children. Many appreciate the dedicated staff and the classic boardwalk charm. However, some find the employee customer service lacking in friendliness, and parking can be expensive and fill up quickly.
"Everything is clean and new, not sleezy like other boardwalks.
It's great for kids, toddlers and parents. Teens should find somewhere else to go. There wasnt any litter and no lines on a Saturday night in September. Most employees went above and beyond , like the ticket booth boy and train woman and signalmen. Not expensive if you limit 1 kid to 2 or 3 rides.
They canceled the fireworks and should have notified customers via signs, website and Facebook.
Parking fills up fast and isn't cheap. Neither is the aquarium or food."

"I've been taking my son here since he was a baby. Fun, safe and family friendly."

"It was a great experience to go as an adult I haven't been there since I was 21 years old. Social distancing was not bad considering you were in a crowded place, there was hand sanitizer stations everywhere and the cops were doing a good job keeping it clean and the riff Raff out this is still a family-oriented boardwalk and the rides are still for children but it was still great to play in the arcades and just have some fun and see the aquarium and play mini golf"

Operating hours vary seasonally and by day of the week. It's crucial to check the official Jenkinson's amusement park hours on their website before your visit, especially during spring and fall.

🎫 🎡 Onsite Experience
Jenkinson's offers a variety of rides suitable for young children, including roller coasters like the Shark Escape and Tidal Wave, as well as spinning rides like the Pendelo. There are also many kiddie rides perfect for toddlers.
While there are some thrill rides, Jenkinson's is primarily geared towards younger children and families. Teenagers might find the arcade and some of the larger rides entertaining, but it may not hold their attention for an entire day.
Beyond the amusement rides, Jenkinson's Boardwalk features an aquarium, mini-golf, arcades, and various food stands and shops. You can also enjoy the beach adjacent to the boardwalk.

Navigating Ride Credits and Costs
While the rides are the main attraction, remember that other activities like the arcade, mini-golf, and the aquarium also have separate costs. Visitors often advise limiting the number of rides per child to manage expenses, especially if you have multiple children. Understanding the credit system and taking advantage of sales can make a Jenkinson's amusement park visit more affordable.
The Jenkinson's Experience: Family Fun & Beyond
Beyond the rides, the Jenkinson's Boardwalk offers a classic seaside amusement experience. Visitors can enjoy classic arcade games, test their skills at games of chance, or engage in a round of mini-golf. The adjacent aquarium provides an educational and entertaining diversion, and of course, the beach is right there for some sun and sand. The park is noted for being clean and well-maintained, contributing to a positive overall visitor experience.
Timing Your Visit for the Best Experience
Outside of the summer, the shoulder seasons of spring and fall can offer a pleasant experience with fewer visitors. The annual Easter sale is a prime time for bargain hunters, but it also means increased crowds due to the significant savings on ride cards. Be aware that fireworks have been canceled in the past, so it's wise to check the park's official channels for any event updates.
