Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Glacier Ridge Metro Park for its well-maintained trails, diverse activities like a challenge course and disc golf, and beautiful natural scenery, especially during fall. Some find the paved trails lack shade on hot days and note the prevalence of ticks, advising caution.
"I’ve been walking the trails at Glacier Ridge Metro Park since I moved to this area over 15 years ago. Over the years, the landscape around it has changed quite a bit due to urban sprawl, but the park itself has remained a lovely retreat. Some of the best sunsets around. It’s beautifully maintained, with miles of paved trails. No matter the season or how much it changes, this park continues to be a place where I can recharge and enjoy some outside time."

"Such a cute little park , perfect for beginner trail rides !!! Mostly flat , grass paths with some riding through the woods ! Super well marked and groomed and easy to find your way around the loop ! Love that there is a corral for the horses with a nice big mounting block , places to tie or warm up , and there is water and a water trough !!! There is a porta potty for riders !!!! Gorrrrgeous in the fall!"

"This felt more like a neighbor suburban park. Mind you, a very nice one. It had blacktop trails throughout. Great for accessibility, but when put together with limited shade and a very warm day, it was kind of miserable. I went for the pet friendly trails and figured the dog park was an added bonus. Unfortunately, it was so hot and unshaded it was too hot for a long coated dog. Plus I pulled 19 ticks off of her fur (zero attached). Nice park, just not the best for hot days."
