"This is an amazing little spot. We were visiting from out of town and decided to burn a few hours at the aquarium. We did not buy tickets in advance and walked right in, but I can see how you would want to do that during busier seasons.
It is so clean, well taken care of and the staff are fantastic.
We had so much fun with our 11 and 8 year olds. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions!
We decided to do the $20 behind the scenes tour and feeding frenzy and it was worth every penny!! Our tour guide was amazing, so kind and patient with our kiddos and engaged them so well. We got to “meet” 5 sea turtles that were rehabilitated and were getting returned to the sea later in the afternoon! We loved hearing their stories and the mission of this program.
Would definitely go again and spend more time. What a great local aquarium!!"

"Beautiful! The nature trails, the recreated habitats, the marsh boardwalk…everything about this place is just beautiful! And the staff was completely lovely! Friendly, knowledgeable, & interesting in their delivery.
The building & parking lot are well maintained, the restrooms are clean. Admission is reasonable, the gift shop expensive & largely mass-produced.
I went on a rainy Monday morning in the “off season” for the area & it was decently crowded, but easily maneuverable. There is plenty of room between exhibits. I also purchased my ticket in advance which made entry faster & probably does help a lot during busy times. Just over an hour was spent inside & just under an hour was spent outside. And they have plenty of programs throughout the day (feedings, animal encounters, divers in the shark tank, etc).
The older gentleman at the otter enclosure was especially kind & friendly."

"There are hundreds of species and tons of descriptions and learning points throughout. This is one of the best maintained aquariums I've ever seen with every critter always appearing healthy and well looked after. They also have some viewing docks to see the coastal habitats and a trail that takes about thirty minutes. At the beginning of the trail there is a nice playground that is perfect for kids. There's also a dairy queen built into the front of the building."
