Visitors consistently praise Johnson Beach for its stunning white sand and clear waters, making it a top choice for a beach day. While entry fees can be a point of contention for some, many find the pristine conditions and amenities like restrooms and showers well worth the cost. Crowds can be significant, but arriving early often mitigates this issue.

"Absolutely amazing place to spend the day on the beach! It’s a national park so you can get in with a pass at no extra cost. They have showers, bathrooms and a covered patio. The beach is clean and beautiful! It does get very busy and can have a wait to get in but it’s worth it! Even after a long line to get in we found parking easily and a place to setup on the beach. We came almost everyday on our trip."

Abby Timmermeyer

"Nice clean beach access with restrooms. The restrooms were old and dingy but it worked.. beaches were not crowded when I went and free of trash and debris. Lifeguards were on duty. Nice area but access was a bit pricey to me. You can't buy less than 1 week of access and a family sized vehicle will cost you $25. I wanted access for 1 day..about 3hrs. I didnt go beyond the beaches so I can't say about anything else"

Jeremy Frost

"Worth paying for the Beach. Great location and beautiful. Nice facilities. Bathroom and showers. Plus there's a building with picnic tables."
