Hank DeBardeleben

"Avoid the ranger by parking for free at the intersection of Brigham & Black Hill Roads. No sanitary facilities on site. Dogs allowed on a leash. Crowded on weekends (upper parking lot fills up quickly). Paved walkway (see trail map pic) from the Little Paxton bridge (closed) to the lake (a fairly steep grade incline walk). Picnic tables outing area adjacent to the Old Sawmill. Adirondack chairs are sparse but located next to and on the handicapped accessible covered bridge. There is a secure donation recepticle (no QR code) close to the wooden Azalea path footbridge. If you hike the trails be sure to wear pants, long sleeves, apply mosquito & tick repellent, bring water, a flashlight, sunglasses and a camera."
