What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors often praise The Pioneer Woman Mercantile for its charming atmosphere, unique shop finds, and hearty, home-style restaurant food, especially the biscuits and jam. However, some find the food temperature inconsistent or the overall experience to be more hype than substance, and parking can be a challenge.
"We had a reservation for 12:30pm on a Thursday. I recommend making a reservation because a couple ahead of us had walked in and put their name on the list and were told it would be a 45min wait. When we finished eating about 1hr-1.5 hr later, that couple was just being seated. (So Just a suggestion)…The environment was pleasant and clean. The appetizer looked better than it tasted. I can’t recommend it. It was ok. The food was good. We ordered the fried chicken sandwich & the turkey bacon club. It’s a fun place to visit for something special. The store had a great selection of gift ideas. The bathrooms were extremely clean."

"We had a wonderful time at Pioneer Woman Restaurant and Mercantile. This place had been on our Oklahoma bucket list for a while and it did not disappoint. The store area was large and filled with fun gifts. The food and service were excellent. It was surprisingly not a long wait at all to get a table. The complimentary biscuits and jam were yummy. The chicken fried steak and gravy was soooo delicious. Our waitress was very friendly. We had a great time and look forward to visiting again."

"Mercantile was underwhelming but cute. Restaurant was good but did was never hot and we had breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Lodge was a must see in my opinion! Prarie Cottage was cutest little home, cozy and great location to stay! Overall worth the drive from Kansas City!"
