What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Lower Arroyo Archery Range for its peaceful outdoor setting and ample shooting lanes, making it ideal for practice and tournaments. However, some have experienced frustration with access restrictions for non-members during peak hours, highlighting the importance of understanding Roving Archers' rules and obtaining necessary certifications.
"Starting coming here about 2 years ago b/c I live close by. Was told I needed to take a safety class. Took 2 months but I finally took the class. Since then I have been coming to the range every Saturday morning at 7am to shoot for an hour or so. This morning I was kicked off the range becuase im not a member of roving archers and was told if I wanted to use the range id have to come back at the hottest part of the day or use it during the week. I have a family and a regular job. This is my time to relax and have time to myself and enjoy my hobby. It was embarrassing getting kicked off the range today in front of an entire class. I have walked by roving archer employees for 2 years every Saturday morning. No one has said a word. I've seen classes being taught on saturday mornings right next to me for 2 years and no one said a word. But now all of a sudden. It was humiliating. Also they need to be more upfront about things. If I wouldve known I wasn't allowed to be there on saturday mornings I wouldn't have paid to take the class. I just would've found somewhere else to go becuase saturday mornings are all I have."

"Amazing archery range. To use the range openly throughout the week, a safety certification is required, which you can sign up for on their website. Plenty of shooting lanes among the trees and usually nice and quiet."
