My family wanted to try disc golf for the first time while staying in Pagosa Springs, and we didn't know what to expect because the map said it was busier than usual. However, there were only three other cars there when we got there. We got some helpful advice from a couple of other visitors as to where to start and when we lost our way. Although this park is located next to private property and the airport, you can't tell because the park and course are situated both in a beautiful meadow and throughout the trees. I think this is a great place for people who are new to disc golf due to the fact that this park isn't very busy, but because of the terrain (uphill, downhill, lots of trees), is also a nice challenge for seasoned players."
