What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors are consistently surprised and impressed by the National Quilt Museum Paducah, often exceeding expectations even for those not typically interested in quilting. The museum is praised for its stunning display of textile art, diverse exhibitions, and reasonable admission. While some find the viewing time brief, most appreciate the artistic merit and unique experience.
"I wasn't sure i wanted to visit here......HOWEVER, I was pleasantly surprised. Houses over 700 quilts. Some look 3 dimensional, sone are old. Some hand stitched and some machine stitched. Takes about 30-45 min to get through it, self paced, so you may chose to take more or less time. Was worth the fee."
Valerie Griffin
"Do you enjoy quilting? Or art? Or Americana? Than this place is for you. What people can do with quilting is amazing. The displays were actually really interesting. Took us maybe 30 minutes to walk through. Could have been much longer if you read about all the artists and whatnot. Had a fun little gift shop. Not really any quilts for sale but they do have them time to time."
Herb Busler
"The pieces are beautifully displayed. It is easy to move through the galleries and easily see everything. Admission price is very reasonable, with discounts for various groups, including seniors. This is my third visit, I recognized a few pieces from their small permanent collection, but most of the space is dedicated to new collections. Fabulous and definitely worth the time, even for non quilters. These are truly works of art."
