"It's a lovely place to just kayak or look at the water and relax. The water is not very deep, but the city will soon start digging it out to make it deeper. The water level was very low last year. It's a beautiful 7 min drive from Berea."

"Beautiful, but bring a trash bag to pick up others trash. We will bring a bag next time we go back. Kayak rental very close by across from gas station on hwy 21. Met the guy who runs it and saw him interact with customers. Nice guy"

"Owsley Forf Reservoir is a great place to fish, kayak or just sit around and relax. This Reservoir is twice the size of lake reba in richmond kentucky. They are no gasoline motors allowed on this Reservoir, so if you have a gasoline motor on your boat or watercraft do not bring it to owsley fork Reservoir because it is not allowed. They do allow trolling motors only and paddle's if you want to paddle around.
I like to kayak here and fish. There are a lot of fish here and there is some really big fish. I have caught some really nice bass here, they also have shellcrackers here that you can catch also.
Watch out for snakes in the summer and if you walk around the trees and close to the water on the boat ramp side or anywhere on the boat ramp side watch out for poision ivy. This place has a lot of poision ivy. You cant fish the whole Reservoir unless you bring a small boat or kayak because you cant go all the way around the Reservoir because there's not a road or trail that goes all the way around it. There is a lot of limbs on the other side in the water and you can see fish jumping over there so if you want to fish that bring something to get to the other side. Lots of bass around the spillway also.
Come and relax at the Reservoir and enjoy your day. Oh be on the look out i have seen two bald eagles up there. Gonna take pics next time i see them.
If my review helps you in any way PLEASE give me a thumbs up like on my review.
Thank you."
