"This was my second time at this hotel. The rooms are large and the meeting spaces are great! This is a huge hotel and conference center that can accommodate many events at once. Prices in the market and restaurants are a bit on the high side, but that's just the price you pay for the convenience of having many options on-site. There are also really good restaurants nearby (The Pointe is less than 1/2 mile walk from the hotel and it has lots of restaurants and bars). I look forward to returning to this location each year! The rooms have refrigerators but it would be really nice if there was a small microwave as well to reheat food that's been refrigerated."

"Originally reserved a block rate hotel room for a simple King bed regency level. The night prior to arrival was offered a $15 total upgrade for a corner king room, which I selected. Even mentioned to multiple friends via text that would be exciting option.
Prior to flying in the morning I saw that my room type had switched to a family suite. Upon arrival I questioned this as I was a sole traveler and didn’t not request this much space. Now I am being told that I opted to pay $300 extra per night, which is something I never did nor can I afford. Be careful and watch your bill. Very upset and at this point nothing has been done. I was led to believe that my room had changed simply due to complimentary upgrade until I saw the room charges on the final night. Be wary and double check all credit card charges.
The hotel did adjust it to only being charged for two nights vs four for the upgrade. However still upset as it was not something I added or could afford. I would recommend not changing anything to your reservation via the app because the guest receives no confirmation"

"Nice hotel but prices are high and restaurants charge crazy prices for food. The location is good - convenient to many things. The pool area is very nice. We enjoyed our time there overall, but be prepared to pay for it. The amenity fees are high as well and you pay those in addition to the cost of staying at the hotel. So if you aren't using any of the amenities, be prepared to still pay for them."

Family Fun at the Grotto Pool
Beyond the water attractions, the resort-style atmosphere provides a relaxing environment for parents. The availability of cabanas adds an extra layer of comfort for families looking to spend a full day enjoying the pool area. This makes it a compelling choice for a resort-style getaway within Orlando, even if you plan to venture out to theme parks.

The key is to be an informed consumer, understanding all associated costs upfront and utilizing external dining options when possible to maximize value.
