"Entertaining show. More entertaining than educational but some history was presented. WARNING!‼️ Humor can lean strongly on the adult side (sometimes sexual)."

"Been to the Horror Make-up Show a few times and it’s always really entertaining and interesting. If you love Universals original monsters or the horror-themed genre this is a great stop. Also a great break from the heat as it’s indoors.
Under the guise of comedy you get to learn more about Universal’s innovation in creating the horror movie genre and how the industry has transformed over the years.
There have been different hosts at different times when I’ve gone but the 2 women running everything this past time were by far my favorite. One of the ladies was apparently a higher up horror makeup designer from Universal LA which is really cool.
If you have a family member or friend you’d like to embarrass they usually ask for a volunteer during the show, try to make a ruckus so that your person gets chose to come on stage- it’s always a hoot (or maybe howl is more appropriate?)"

"Very much enjoyed the horror makeup show. I didn’t know much about it going in, but the people I was with wanted to check it out. The actors hosting were entertaining and informative. I’d definitely agree that the show is more geared to adults BUT I would also say you can bring your kids and be totally fine. Sit in the front row if you want a chance to participate in the show!"
