What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Fast & Furious: Supercharged is a polarizing attraction, often criticized for its short duration, confusing narrative, and underwhelming simulation. However, fans of the franchise appreciate the detailed queue with iconic cars and the extensive merchandise store. Many visitors note its consistently short wait times, making it an easy, albeit brief, addition to a park day.
"This ride had a short wait time of 15 minutes, so we decided to go for it. It was a long walk through the indoor hallway. Along the way we got to see a lot of cool cars, garage and memorable items from the Fast and Furious franchise.
The ride begins with an interaction where an associate pretends to be communicating with Tej. Then we head to another room, where another person continues to build up the mission by communicating with the F&F team. Then we finally get on a bus like ride. It went thru a road race like experience where other F&F joined in to run away from Hobbs. It lasted less than a minute. It was so after so much build, just to have such a short ride.
At the end of the exit they had the merchandise store. It was far better than the ride itself. They actually had good stuff here, especially small models of all the popular cars that were used in the movie. I bought a Mazda RX7."

"This ride attempts to deliver high-octane thrills but struggles with coherence and immersion. You board a party bus for a simulated chase through city streets, but the storyline is thin and the CGI effects often feel disconnected from the physical environment. The pacing is uneven, and many guests report confusion about what’s happening during the ride. While the queue features cool cars and franchise memorabilia, the actual experience lacks the emotional or narrative depth that makes an attraction memorable.
Despite its ambition, the ride lands as more of a placeholder than a highlight. It’s not physically intense, nor is it emotionally engaging. For someone who values layered storytelling or skill-based interaction, this ride may feel hollow. Still, it’s a useful contrast—it helps sharpen your sense of what works and what doesn’t in theme park design. Sometimes, knowing what doesn’t resonate is just as valuable as discovering what does."

"As a local and annual pass holder this might be the worst ride here. Universal needs to seriously change this ride. I can’t remember if Earthquake or Twister was here before but they were way better. If you miss this ride on your trip you are not missing anything."

The Ride Experience: A Mixed Bag
The ride's brevity is a common point of contention. While the queue can be lengthy, the actual ride experience is often described as lasting less than a minute. This short duration, coupled with the perceived lack of a strong narrative or intense thrills, contributes to its polarizing reception. Despite this, some guests appreciate the loud soundtrack and the visual spectacle, finding it an entertaining, albeit brief, diversion.
Ultimately, the Fast & Furious: Supercharged experience is highly subjective. For fans of the franchise, the opportunity to see iconic cars and be immersed in the movie's world might be enough. For others, the ride may fall short of expectations, serving more as a brief interlude than a park highlight.
Queue and Merchandise: The Real Stars?
Beyond the queue, the merchandise store at the exit is frequently highlighted as a positive aspect of the attraction. Visitors often report finding a wide array of Fast & Furious themed items, with a particular emphasis on high-quality scale models of the movie cars. This makes the store a destination in itself for collectors and fans looking for souvenirs that capture the essence of the franchise.
While the ride itself may be divisive, the attention to detail in the queue and the quality of merchandise available ensure that many visitors still find value in the Fast & Furious: Supercharged experience, even if it's for reasons beyond the ride itself.
