What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Cabela's Orlando is widely praised for its massive, immersive wilderness theme, impressive aquarium, and vast selection of outdoor gear. Visitors enjoy the unique atmosphere, interactive elements like feeding the fish, and seasonal events. However, some shoppers have reported instances of rude staff and found the store to be overpriced.
"The Christmas parade of ATVs and UTVs, drivable boats, and Orlando Fire Department Engine 10! The tree lighting was an amazing experience even in the Florida rain! Photo opportunities with the Claus’s (Santa and Mrs.), Frosty the snowman, and Rudloph the red nosed reindeer were free to all. Santa even held a book reading of the Night Before Christmas for patrons."

"It’s a very huge shop that literally has everything not only limited to fishing and boating! There is an aquarium inside that is really nice for kids to look into and the other animal decorations are so cool! Also, this is our first year to take picture with their Santa! There is a queue when we arrived with reservation but line was going very fast! You’ll get 1 free 4x 6 photo & you can purchase digitals or other poses if you want! Will be back again next year for Santa!!!"

"Rude personnel.
I am very disappointment with the service my family and I received at the Bass Pro Shops on International Drive. On our recent visit, we had nearly $300 worth of merchandise in hand and were preparing to check out when we were informed that the store was closing. We realized we had forgotten a fishing line float and asked our 10-year-old daughter to quickly fetch it. Instead of assisting us, the staff acted in a desperate and rude manner, ultimately expelling us from the store without helping us locate the item.
Given that this store is situated in a tourist area, one would expect better treatment. I am extremely dissatisfied with this experience and do not recommend this store to anyone. It is overpriced, and the service is appalling."
