"The Hilbert Museum is simply outstanding. A world class museum. The art is beautiful and well displayed. The watercolors paintings are my favorite. It’s California themed. Nice cafe. Outstanding staff. The small compound makes navigating simple and enjoyable. Again, the art is simply beautiful. Most say it takes about 90 minutes to view; however we were viewing and enjoying the docent chats and stayed 2 1/2 hours and I will return. I met the founder of the museum, Mr Mark Hilbert. A true gentleman; and his authentic spirit reflects his museum and art in downtown Orange. Absolutely a gem. You can walk in without a reservation OR you can make a reservation. Regardless of the time you select, your reservation will be honored all day. By making a reservation it helps the museum achieve Art grants. So, make a reservation 🤩 the museum is FREE and a parking structure is available nearby."

"Hilbert Museum 🖼️ Museum of California in association with Chapman University in City of Orange 🍊 CA does an absolute fantastic job of sharing all the offerings and in such unique ways.
Been for private events but this was 1st time checking out whole and expansive properties. Saw paintings 🎨 & other artful pieces that were astonishing at how it encapsulates the historical & cultural traditions. And with so much beautiful accuracy.
The large public art of all kinds was the 1st outstanding example. Giant Mosaic of regions culture of the years is spectacular. Gotta see the surfer 🏄 on dolphins 🐬 as well imo. Stunning inside with special exhibitions with such epic setting in old Towne 🍊 Orange utilizing the old Sunkist and train/bus station. The new buildings are contemporary and can immediately appreciate the uniqueness of museum and incredible outside beauty just by viewing the giant and epic mosaic.
Large private parking 🅿️ lots and with upfront handicap ♿ Parking. Great ADA compliance. As double amputee the navigation was nice and open. Staff very willing to help if needed.
The local and cultural history within the artwork has honest symbolism for most part...Defer 2 UR "Eye of the Beholder" views & imaginations:))
