What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Stinson Park is a versatile community space praised for its family-friendly atmosphere, playgrounds, and role as a venue for diverse events like concerts and festivals. While many enjoy its open spaces and convenience, some visitors have noted occasional 'weird vibes' or strong marijuana smells, suggesting awareness of surroundings is prudent during off-peak times.
"Our family’s new Sunday night routine! Take the dogs to the park, get dinner, let the kids play and relax in a cool setting."
Dougsuniverse
"I don’t typically leave reviews but our experience was very bizarre. We took our 3 year old and 6 month old here and were greeted with a strong smell of weed, we moved here from Washington so we get it but there were lots of unusual people hanging around at the time that made us feel like we were being watched. Children left to play while there parents smoked pot in the car, very strange. Probably not the parks fault but it was a weird vibe to say the least. I wouldn’t feel comfortable going back unless they were having a big event with more people around."
Ashley Swaner
"The weekly Slide Ride starts from Stinson Park. Great place to meet.
Plus there is a bike fixit station near the restrooms."
