IFly is located inside the Solomon Sports Center (downtown Ogden). The bldg is located on the corner. IFly is situated right next to FlowRider sports bldg just next door.
Pregnant individuals or prosthetic individuals (who can’t remove or take off the equipment is not able to take this course and participate).
An awesome, extraordinary, one of a kind thrilled indoor flying fun if you have the heart for it and are a thrill seeker then this is the place.
IFly is indescribable if you’ve not done it, they get you ready based on your IFly time booked.
They go by your body size frame, weight- height and find the right size flying suite for you to put on. You can slip on the skydiving suite over your regular shirts/zip up your one-piece suite by the bench located by the front counter where you check-in. You will also receive a helmet (watch, jewelry, dangling items, remove, lock it up).
Instructor will go through guidelines/guidance to get you ready, with nothing to worry about or be concerned about. If you’ve questions, ask, they will be happy to answer. One question the instructor asked me was (Have you flew before or have flown on simulator that offers similar air flight experience) or tell me what experience you have, if anything to get to know the student a bit.
Once they feel you are ready and seeing readiness, they will again remind you of what needs to be done before you step into the silver tower tank (example: spread your arms-legs wide open (spread eagle position), keep hands flat during flying. Retain this position the best you can in a comfortable way that feels right for you.
There is an instructor (or staff) controlling the small air-tower desk (control desk) the controller can see the instructor/student facing the fiberglass chamber tunnel. He controls all the buttons, more air, less air, intermediate airflow depending on level of height during flying and likely depending on the flyer’s body size frame-weigh to control and increase more air, etc to keep the session in the right frame during flying.
The flying tunnel is about 12 foot in diameter, 33 ft in height or so. I flew as high up as I did based on the instructor’s experience of what I can do, how much air I can take, how comfortable I was during our lessons, a case-to-case scenario and on many different factors guided by the flying instructor.
My instructor that day, was Hamas. I think that was his name. He was patient, warm-friendly-welcoming-likeable, a highly experienced flying coach. He was a delightful instructor from the start.
The funniest part was at one point, due to powerful airflow, my face puffed up like a blowfish, bubble-face, inflated. This experience reflected my thoughts of the time I bobsledded (Park City Olympus Park) during the .51 sec finish; of the bobsled ride with a German instructor (who sat in front, I was behind him. I made sure his helmet didn't tilt backward and slam me in the face and behind me were 2 other riders) my face puffed up due to air pressure of the run. I resembled a chipmunk that day. Bobsled G-Force is 5G to 6G.
In IFly indoor skydiving, you don't go through the G force but rather a free flow maneuver.
My instructor took me up higher to the tunnel chamber, he then used his hands, rotated me so I could spun within the tunnel. I went up then to lower mid-lever of the tunnel then we went back up to a higher airflow height. It was fun, super awesome !
If you are a leisurely traveler or business traveler. If you meet the requirements outlined; you must try this I-Fly lesson before you go home."

"Fourth time in four years for us. We take our grandkids once a year. Best hour of entertainment you could ask for. We've always had wonderful instructors who become part of the family by the time they are done teaching and encouraging the kids to do tricks and trying new things. The kids come away feeling like they have just conquered the world and their problems have been forgotten. I know reviews should be short, but I could go on and on about how much great family time this could be for your family. This year we had Matae (SP, sorry) and Kevin as instructors. They were fantastic. We've never had any that weren't engaged with us. So many good memories. We will be back again for sure. Thanks for the great times."
