"This is MOST relaxing beach you could ever visit! No jelley fish a beautiful view of the water and a fantastic place to enjoy family time! "My go to for years when I need my beach fix in VA when the drive to the Ocean Front is not what I feel like doing. I think everyone has their favorite beach in VA. Besides the main, this would be my little place. It’s a locals spot on the other side of the water. I love the James River. Yep it’s a River but ‘feels’ like the Ocean to me, the way the Ocean makes me feel. Nostalgic for me. Special place in my heart. Many great Memories.
Gotta keep up with the water quality warnings here though.
Sometimes just come to park the car and stare out for miles.
Has a park, restrooms, volley ball net, the restaurant near the fishing pier. Just a great spot. Can launch your water craft just on the other side too."

"Huntington Beach is a charming spot with a picturesque sunset! While it's not a traditional beach (it's actually a river), it's still a great spot to relax and have fun. If you're looking for a more traditional beach experience with waves, Fort Monroe is a better bet. But if you prefer calm waters, Huntington Beach is perfect! Plus, there's a great restaurant nearby. Definitely worth a visit! 💛"
