What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Trash and Vaudeville is a legendary East Village institution celebrated for its authentic punk, goth, and alternative fashion, especially its vast selection of Tripp NYC pants and unique footwear. While the store is praised for its extensive collection and helpful staff, some visitors have noted inconsistent cashier experiences and a desire for more vegan shoe options.
"I have been visiting this shop for about 25 years, in its previous location as well as the “new” one. Viva Jimmy Webb! On my last visit I was really pleased to see the place thriving: plenty of subcultural threads to browse. Tons of band T-shirts, fitted/black skinny jeans (they used to be one of the only places I knew of to buy them in the days of yore) & tons of accessories & shoes! I kinda wish they had some vegan footwear, as I was in the market for an updated pair of vegan Chelsea Boots! Love/respect to T&V always 🖤"

"The two young ladies that were helping w/the shoes were very helpful & kind. There's a great selection that I haven't seen anywhere else. The only reason I didn't give 5 ⭐️ was b/c the cashier at the entrance wasnt very pleasant at all...coming or going, after spending about $300 in there."
