What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Stand is widely praised for its hilarious comedy shows and sophisticated yet chill atmosphere, especially in NYC. Visitors also rave about the excellent happy hour deals on oysters and cocktails, and the attentive service. Some locations offer unique culinary experiences like Native American frybread. A minor point of feedback includes being specific with food orders.
"The Stand is a great spot with friends or for a date! When I came here on a Saturday night, I got a bite at their restaurant before joining one of their comedy shows. Their menu is decently big with lots of different kinds of foods and drinks. Service here was pretty quick and really nice.
I got their salmon belly tartare, oysters, grilled pork belly, and one of their pastas. Everything was delicious. The tartare was great and I loved how it came with bread to enjoy it with. I typically don't enjoy bigger oysters, but the ones here were really fresh and actually so good. The pasta was flavorful and came with lots of shrimp. And, their pork belly was a huge portion and perfectly seasoned. Drinks here are good, and you can bring them to the comedy show portion! Would definitely come back for a good night."

"Their oysters at happy hour were plentiful at a great price for the area. The bartender was also nice and let us order from the happy hour menu with that price at the exact minute it ended. Great experience and I would go back"
