My wife, my best friend, and I visited Serendipity in Times Square during our New York trip, and it turned out to be one of those meals you talk about afterward. We started with the Loaded Nachos, and they did not disappoint. The chips stayed crisp under layers of melted cheese, seasoned beef, and fresh pico de gallo. The guacamole was rich and smooth, and the jalapeños added just enough kick to keep things interesting. Every bite had something different going on, and it all worked together.
Next was the Club Sandwich with Parmesan Fries. The sandwich was stacked high with juicy chicken, smoky bacon, lettuce, and tomato, all held together by perfectly toasted bread. It was very quiet and not crowded at all when we went on a Thursday afternoon. The food was good, nothing amazing, it seems where they shine is their dessert menu.
