Yes, the marketing is absolutely brilliant - I assume. As people are waiting long minutes just to get into this tiny store — meanwhile for me it’s hard not to wonder what all the fuss is about. I friend asked us to get something for her. We said sure knowing almost nothing about this brand.
The store is tiny, the clothes are okey but nothing special — mostly Yankees and Knicks stuff at this time, bought by people who probably haven’t watched a single minute of these sport teams in their lives. It feels like everyone’s just following an internet trend because they saw it online and now “need” the merch.
One positive thing though, the guy at the door was super nice — five stars for his attitude. I chatted a little bit with him about this hype and the customers."
