"We came to New York for Steve's 30 year retirement from the Humberside Police
We only found this because I researched this before we came so we could see this special memorial to the police of New York.
We walked to this memorial and to be honest it was to me hidden away and you would pass this without seeing it if you didn't know this was there.
We knew where it was as we looked on our goggle maps for it. We approached it and it did make you feel the hair's on your neck stand on end when you saw the wall of all the people who had lost their life's.
I am sad that this memorial was tucked out of the way as the New York Police deserved something more noticeable regarding their staff and what they had done for the city.
Want to come back but just wish it was larger and more noticeable for more people to see."
Paula Carmichael
"A bit small, but a nice, heart-felt dedication to the New York men and women in blue. It's so small and out of the way, it took a little while for my friend and I to find it, even using gps."
