"Expensive, but rocks!! So many delicious options!! Can spend all day here. Reminds me of smaller version of Reading Terminal Market in Philly."
Anthony Alonzo
"Took a walking tour of grand central station today and finished by walking thru the Grand Central Market. Full of delicious looking meat, seafood, cheese, chocolate and lots more. Pretty busy today around 3pm with shoppers."
THE EXPLORER
"I love popping in here every so often on my journeys and checking out the goods. Don’t forget to look up, that tree- chandelier is my favorite visual part of the market. They had a lovely variety of produce in the very front (street entrance, and also at the end). They have Li Lac chocolates here and Murray’s Cheese. At Murray’s, I picked up French butter, Beurre D’Isigny, I didn’t realize they carried this here. They had a few different kinds, in addition to salted and sweet options, there are some that are more local and those which are imported. I also picked up Chorizo Iberico which I’ll be looking forward to trying. There’s a great selection from Spices and Tease (note the play on words in their name), also a large display of caviar varieties and a separate further in for just seafood."
