What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Brookfield Place is lauded for its stunning modern architecture, particularly the Winter Garden Atrium, and its breathtaking waterfront views. Visitors appreciate the sophisticated shopping, diverse dining options like Le District, and the serene atmosphere that makes it ideal for both work and leisure. The complex is seen as more than just a mall, but a beautiful destination to relax and enjoy the scenery.
"Brookfield Place is a high-end commercial complex that offers a mixed bag of experiences. The architecture is somewhat nice, but the overall interior design has a very polished, almost Dubai-like luxury feel that might not appeal to everyone.
Despite the glamorous setting, many of the luxury shops are often almost empty, while the center also hosts a handful of more or less affordable brand shops.
However, where it truly excels is in its amenities: the food court is genuinely good, offering diverse options, and the public toilets are notably very clean. The complex provides a seamless connection to the subway and features a nice sitting area, perfect for taking a rest and maybe reading a page or two. Pet friendly and sometimes exhibit modern 'ART' So, It functions well as a clean, convenient hub, even if the atmosphere is overly luxe."

"Love the area. Seems similar to the world trade center prior to 9/11. Views outside are stunning. You will see cruiseships, statue of liberty, boats and so much more. Also there are outside eaters too! Lovely garden area! The food court has nice coffee shops as well."

"Because of CANstruction, learned about Brookfield Place more than a decade ago (at least). That time, there was no underground walkway to the Oculus bec the Oculus wasn't even built yet :) Now, it is so convenient to get to and from the subway and Path trains, without worrying about the weather outside.
Aside from shopping, food hall/restaurants, from inside Brookfield Place, can see nice views of outdoors and the river. Have taken photos of the cityscape, a distant view of the Statue of Liberty, the sunset on the river from the marina area. Lots of restrooms."
