"Last week, my husband and I were pre-holiday perfume shopping in Soho NYC and had a wonderful experience at Aedes. Miguel was very knowledgeable, patient and helpful as he assisted us in selecting and deselecting fragrances. I fell in love with Aedes' Corfu Kumquat and Spoturno's Alphee. As it turned out, Aedes had hosted a U.S. launch event for Spoturno the night before, and Spoturno founder Veronique Spoturno Coty (great granddaughter of Francois Spoturno dit Coty, founder of the Parfumerie Moderne) and Spoturno and world-renown nose Christopher Sheldrake were in the shop the next morning when we were there. We were delighted when Miguel introduced us to them. I believe I am the first purchaser of a Spoturno fragrance in the U.S. I also have to add that the Spoturno bottles are beautiful."

You walk in to a low lit room, and as long as someone is available, they assist you in finding exactly what youre looking for.
Start out by giving them an overall idea of what scent you want, and the fun begins. The person assisting you will pull different fragrances for you while you get the sense of them and narrow down what you want.
I probably smelled 20 or more different fragrances while I was here, and my Fiance likely 10 or more. The person helping us didnt stop until we were both satisfied with the scents we found.
They were able to ship our fragrances home to us, as we live on the west coast and didnt want to risk breaking the bottles on our way home. Shipping was fast and the bottles arrived safe and sound, very well packaged.
10/10 would recommend to anyone, especially if they aren't 100% sure what they are looking for."

The man who served me was not only kind and polite he knew EVERYTHING about perfumes. Asked me what I wore, what scents I liked and picked out a couple of things I’ve never heard of and BINGO a new smell for me that is WOW soooo good. I was not rushed or pressured and I was VERY impressed by this personalised service and care and it made me feel like I was a real VIP (I’m really not!!) and I will definitely be going back!!!"
