What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Esther Street Beachfront Park for its beautiful, clear waters and scenic beachfront, making it ideal for sunrise viewing and family fun. While amenities like clean restrooms and picnic areas are appreciated, some non-residents find the parking fees a bit high for short stays. Accessibility for those with mobility challenges is noted, with some sand conditions requiring extra effort.
"I only visited the beach area, and it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Water was beautiful clear and clean, and you can park on the sand with a disabled parking placard, which worked out great for me! I use a wheelchair, and I was able to push over the hard sand, but the softer sand was more challenging. My family said the restrooms were very clean and well maintained. I visited for an adaptive surfing event with the Oceans of Hope Foundation, but I'll be visiting again for sure!"

"The bathroom is only a single stall, but it's a little hidden parking area. It was the perfect spot to see the sun rising from. The playground and picnic area look relatively new, though there is no shower to rinse off the sand."

"To keep it simple I don't think it's worth it if you're from outside Volusia county. If you're from Volusia you can go online and register your car for free parking takes 24-48 hours. If you're from outside the county it's $20 and I don't know if it was an error but for me it was $20 for 2 hours. The lot is clean and has facilities like bathroom and outside showers, but for $30 you can park nearby on the beach for as long as you want up till 7pm and still use facilities, even driving there just to use the facilities and leave without paying. If you like to spend all day at the beach, you might as well pay the extra $10 as opposed to $20 for just 2 hours unless you only plan on staying a short while."
