"It was a very nice trip with the kids and we spent about an hour exploring the area. They enjoyed being able to see the fort and were excited to enter some of them. It was a full circle adventure for us because in May we went to Bennington Vermont and saw the statue of John Stark at the battle monument."

"This is a free State Park. You can do a short walk around the fort. There are great views of the water and lighthouses in the distance. A few picnic tables are available. There were a couple of portable toilets. It would have been nice if there were some displays that told the history of the place."
