As you arrive at Neha Bay village, you can not miss the two very large male and female tall Native American statues displayed on the front of the museum greeting you.
The museum has plenty of parking, including handicapped spaces. Parking areas are visibly well marked. The museum is handicapped friendly as well. Bathrooms were clean, and the gift shop has a wonderful selection of handmade creations by local artists.
Attention, the museum has a sign that says NO PHOTOS. Photos are allowed Only in the foyer and outside. Be respectful and follow the rules.
The staff are very friendly and warm. Don't forget to sign the guest book so they know where you came from.
If you are planning to walk the trail to Cape Flattery, your pass can be purchased at the museum. Save your pass because it is good for a year.

Ecosystems have a fragile balance. The weather on this day was foggy and 51 degrees cool. Visiting Neah Bay connects visitors with ancestral people. Driving from the bay towards the Cape Flattery walking trail will give you a sense of calmness. Enjoy the view and look up. You will see Bald eagles flying.

"If you love to learn this is a great place. I learned about the ways of Makah tribe throughout its history. Saw replica of a long house. artifacts were on display that they recovered from archeological excavating of nearby site. It is very worth the time and money to go see this place.
I would go I to more depth but then you wouldn't want to visit. So please go and learn about this tribe by visiting the museum."

"Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area headed to Cape Flattery or Shi Shi Beach. The museum was incredibly detailed and learning about the Ozette archeological site was fascinating. You can go inside a replica of a longhouse and seeing the scale of the whaling boat was impressive. You can tell a lot of love went into making the exhibits. Great giftshop and you can pick up Makah Recreation Permits here too."
