"Friendly rangers. Easy parking and easy to locate, especially using the directions on the NPS website. We visited and explored both plantations and grounds. Very informative. Restrooms were available and clean. Also, it was a hot day but there was plenty of places with shade."

Tracy L

"I'm a huge fan of NPS and all their locations as I always try to stop when I'm near one. This site is about 60 acres of a typical Creole culture that dates back 200 years. There is a short walk around the grounds...although it was too cold to stay out too long on this visit. Still, it is representative of history and is a great place to visit!"

Mike McGuire

"We are so happy we drove the extra 3 hours to get to this site. The history is so interesting. Self guided, we could walk around and read about the buildings and life on this plantation. The ranger we spoke with answered all of our questions. And for the collectors of NPS stamps, yes, there is one."
