What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Natchez State Park for its secluded, quiet atmosphere, beautiful forest scenery, and abundant wildlife. The clean campgrounds with concrete pads are a highlight, offering a peaceful retreat. However, some find the lake muddy, trails less maintained, and access roads rough.
"Secluded, quiet, and beautiful views. This place is in the middle of the forest, yet the lots are high-grade, straight, thick concrete slabs. We saw wonderful wildlife and amazing trees. The restroom was clean and even air conditioned. A+ accommodations!"
Melanie Carron
"Very peaceful campground, the lake was very muddy so I didn't try to do any fishing or swimming. The sites are concrete pads but not really level. It rained during my stay and water runoff was big problem for many of the campsites, including mine. The bath house was clean and in good condition. If you have T-Mobile, you'll have poor reception here."
Jerry Winegard
"Rare gem, I want to complain about the road going in, but I have gone down worse roads. It really is not bad at all. The place was extremely clean, quiet, and peaceful. We will come back to this place."
