What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Nashville Farmers' Market for its vibrant atmosphere, diverse global food options in the Market House, and fresh local produce from outdoor vendors. Many appreciate the free entry and ample parking, though some note that not all vendors accept cards and dogs are restricted indoors.
"This place has a great collection of local eateries, arts and crafts goods, spread across several different stores. They have free parking lots all around the building. We came here around Friday noon time. It was crowded, the hall was packed with people. A lot of the food stores had lines. There was a store that sold local Nashville goods, products, snacks and food items. There were few apparel, hand crafts, and cosmetic stores as well. We saw several security personnel around the place keeping it safe for everyone.
One of the highlights of the market is the Jamaicaway restaurant that was featured in Food Network’s show Diners, Dine-in and Dives hosted by Guy Fieri. Their oxtail is excellent. The market also has outdoor bars, artisan stores and a garden called Garden of Babylon. There’s also a cool “I love Nash” sign inside hall, popular spot for among visitors. Overall it’s a nice place to bring whole family during summer days."

"The Nashville Farmer’s Market is a must visit during the weekend for visitors! The market is normally thriving on the weekends between March - November and is always full of different food, goods and local vendors. I love the outside portion of the farmers market, as they will often have festivals a few times a year - strawberry fest, a fall ball and others that bring out great crowds and have live music. Also make sure that you visit the inside of the market (no dogs allowed inside, which is sad!) where there are plenty of restaurants and shops that are open all year round! There’s even a great gift shop that has great items for anyone who is visiting town. The staff that works here is truly great - there’s an info booth in the outside area that is a great resource when you did it! Also make sure to stop by the Peach Truck stand when it’s open in the summer!
I only dock a star because I wish I could take my dog inside!"

"This is a big, vibrant farmers market with a wide variety of offerings. There is a huge plant nursery with fun garden sculptures, there is a food hall that has everything from roti to moonshine. The open air market has fruits, vegetables, farm fresh eggs, baked goods, canned goods (like jam and pickled veggies). There is a fun made in Nashville store as well as vendors with fun Nashville clothing and souvenirs. We picked up some local beef jerky to snack on as well as a local cold brew coffee. Great fun to walk around and eat around!"
