What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Roby Park's fantastic, shaded playground, perfect for kids of all ages, and its peaceful walking trails. The convenience of nearby food options and ample parking are also frequently praised. Some minor challenges include locating trailheads and the potential for playground equipment to get hot in peak summer.
"I had a hard time finding the trail head. Look to the far side near the main road of the parking area or at the other side parking area down in the field area tucked into the woods a bit. These two entrances have signage and the one by the road has a big granite stake of baby and mother. Easy fun walk. A great path way just to get away for a bit. The forest is enchanting."

"Jeff Morin Playground at Roby Park is awesome! The best feature is that much of the playground is under canopies, providing lots of shade for all of the Littles playing underneath. There is also a decent size parking lot and typically port-a-potties available. There are two different sections to the playground. One is perfect for tots and the other is for all kids - I would say up to age 10. There is plenty of fun for younger kids on interesting slides and climbing structures. Older kids will have fun swinging from the bars and trying the zip line. There are multiple picnic benches and lots of sitting benches inside the park. There is also a nice paved walking path that circles the entire park. Tip: swing by Pressed Cafe and pick up sandwiches to have at the picnic tables before you go. Or, after working up an appetite, pop next-door to lilac blossom for delicious Chinese food!"
