What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Skyline Wilderness Park for its extensive trail system, abundant wildlife, and beautiful natural scenery, especially during spring. While the park offers affordable camping and a native plant garden, some amenities like restrooms and showers could use an update, and trail markings could be clearer.
"Nice park. Nice disc golf course one could play. Trail marking could be a little better as not all shown are accessible. Also, trails are a bit rocky. If you're an experienced mountain biker that likes hills, then they were fine. Ebikes would have a bit of a problem. The Lake Marie at the end of one of the trails was nice; about 1.5 miles upwards and took at least 45 min each way. Outhouse about half way was available. 2 showers and 2 restrooms are available... they need upgrading. Lady at front kiosk was very friendly. If you're biking to town, the road has no bike party and the traffic is a little fast. Large native garden area."

"wide open space with courtesy and helpful staff on site. Animal friendly but lots of burs so the doggies have to be thoroughly checked since the paws collect them very quickly. Even the dog run was not immune from the burs ."
