Reviews Summary

River Country Water Park is a beloved spot for families with young children, praised for its affordability and kid-friendly atmosphere. While some visitors find it a bit shallow for older kids and note occasional cleanliness issues or crowds on weekends, the value and enjoyment for toddlers and preschoolers are undeniable. Lifeguards are generally commended for their attentiveness. Reddit+1

"Life guards was exceptionally awesome especially when being there for the kids ... place was awesome definitely great for kids even the grown (up) kids lol .."

"This is good for 2-7 year olds I think. I brought my 9 year old and I was hoping there would be some deeper areas but other than the lazy river it was shallow everywhere. Kind of like a bigger splash pad. If you buy a Groupon it is worth the price. The front end staff is rude. Cleanliness was ok. The place is small and was crowded. I went on a Saturday though."

Annisa Eastepp

"The park is kid friendly. Not many places to sit in the shade. Now let's get to it. The bathroom for the ladies side was not that clean people please don't go to the water park on your cycle that's enough said .yes they have toilets and showers and a changing side with doors to close ..the snack bar was alright not to pricey for water but a salted pretzel cost about $5 bucks which is expensive in my eyes .. considering you can't bring food or water in the park. You have to buy it from them please never go to this place on the weekend you'll never enjoy it due to being over crowded. We went on Tuesday and there were just enough people there to enjoy themselves without a major crowd. Lifeguards are polite and did a great job keeping order. Slides are ok. Seems a bit old but they function.. the lazy river was ok yes there were dead bugs in the lazy river due to the plant life that surrounded it . The lazy river would have been a good place if some people actually used it as a lazy river instead of a race track ..over all the park is mostly for kids so if the kids don't mind I'll bring my daughter back on during the week only. If you plan on going more then 8 times do yourself a favor and get the season passes it pays for itself. $10 for adults and $8 for kids. Also last thing I leave the park an hour before it closes so I can take a shower and change without the crowd in the bathroom.."
