"I'd say this is a great experience for getting out to walk. It's not quite on the nature side as trails I'm usually at are, but it's still beautiful. There's plenty of bathrooms, seating, and playgrounds for kids. I'd definitely recommend it to people who want to get more active and be outside. They also have areas you can reserve for parties."

"Our favorite park to gaze at the stars, picnic, (charcoal grills available), and go hiking. They have a dirt path through the woods or a nice paved path around the lake. Friendly, well-behaved dogs are welcome. There's an area specifically for dogs or they can hike with you. Different shelters (one with electricity.) You can fish and there's a basketball court and 2 playgrounds for the kiddos. Can take your canoe out and they have different programs happening throughout the summer. Closes at 11pm all year long. Plenty of parking, their drive is a one-way direction around the lake. Nice main bathroom facility and a couple of smaller facilities. Nice little dock to explore by the main bathrooms. We've never had a bad experience in all the years we've been coming. Oh, and there's no longer any swimming for we humans..."
