What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors enjoy the Japanese Gulch Trail for its mountain biking opportunities and scenic hiking paths, with a convenient dog park nearby. However, some reviewers note issues with poorly marked entrances and recurring problems with uncleaned dog waste, making it less ideal for strollers.
"Would have given this place a full 5 stars, but I couldn't walk a full 20 feet down the trail without encountering gnarly mounds of dog excrement in various stages of decomposition, seemingly one after another. It was a bit excessive, in my opinion, and it is definitely not an ideal environment for small children.
Cmon people, be responsible for your animals and clean up after them! PLEASE!! 🤮 Animal feces sometimes carry dangerous parasites that could potentially cause a lot of harm (even death) to the human body and brain of an infected person. And it's entirely preventable!"
Bridgett Healy
"Hiking and biking trails. Blue rated trails mostly, but pretty mellow blues for mt bikes. There's also an off leash dog park near by"
Andy G.
"Nice trail, easy to follow. Goes from shore to under Mukilteo Blvd to Dog park with has many other trail heads."
