Reason #44 to visit Mt. Shasta: walk the bridge at Lake Siskiyou. This bridge was recently constructed to connect the walking trails, making it possible to walk the entire 7 miles around the lake. Just because it’s too cold to swim, doesn’t mean Lake Siskiyou shouldn’t be on your list while visiting. #visitmtshasta #wagoncreekpedestrianbridge #wagoncreekbridge #mtshastamayor #mayorofmtshasta #oner...

Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the Wagon Creek Bridge's stunning beauty, particularly the breathtaking views of Mt. Shasta. The bridge is a highlight of the Lake Siskiyou Trail, offering a peaceful escape and excellent photo opportunities. Some find parking challenging and note that unofficial paths can be tricky.

"Beautiful bridge tucked in a nice remote corner of Lake Siskiyou! I had a great walk along the lake the bridge is in a nice little cove where you can watch people fish you can also get a great view of the lake. If you don’t wanna hike on the trail you can just park at the picnic area and walk over it’s very quiet over here not as busy as the other side of the lake."

"Google Directions/ Maps were okay when it came to where to enter this bridge from - thankfully, there's little alcoves to park in and then walk towards the suspension bridge. Little dirt paths (going downhill) are one way to access the bridge, otherwise keep walking to the entrance and travel down that way. This is a pedestrian bridge only, no motor vehicles allowed including e-scooters, e-bikes. Popular with dogs and when they bark on the bridge, the sound carries over the lake and through the landscape. Trail past the bridge took us around the lake where we spotted some cabins through the trees. Benches along the trail to sit and take in the serenity. For sure, will return to this spot."
