Reviews Summary
Morro Dunes Sandspit is lauded for its unbeatable location right by the beach and Morro Rock, offering stunning views and easy access to coastal activities. While campsites can be a bit cramped, the friendly staff and convenient amenities make it a popular choice for RVers and families. Visitors often extend their stays due to the prime setting.
"For their location right by the beach with that ROCK 🙂, with friendly management, well stocked store and more, I’m giving my experience 5 stars. Staff told me if I wanted a quiet night, to get a spot near the office, which I did. Showers and laundry were fine for a night or 2. I only slept there. I was out walking or working, photographing, trying the local eateries, the rest of the time. The other campers and pets I encountered at Morro Dunes were just fine. This place is popular, so it’s busy all summer. If you plan to be there during off season, just know it gets cold and sometimes foggy at night by the beach. Drive carefully in the fog. Enjoy this hidden gem."

"It gave me a good vibe when we stayed hier last week, next to the beach and i love the big rock in the ocean, 1 of 6 sisters left. 20 min to town, be ealry most close at 8pm if you want to eat somewhere."

"Location is convenient, ground are kept up very well. Walk across the street and the beach is right there. The staff was very nice and greeted us, they also have a little store for rv supplies. 1/2 mile to the bay/pier, restaurants and shopping. The beach is nice and we took nice long walks every day. Pet friendly for people who have pets, we didn’t. Bathroom and laundry facilities are decent. Washers are old but get the job done, you can use quarters or use an app. We didn’t spend a whole lot of time at camp, lots to do away from camp.
Campers coming in every day. We stayed 2 nights and came back another 2 nights because of location. So we stayed a total of 4 nights on 2 separate days.
Overall, great location, friendly staff and clean facilities."
