"It's a great trail to hike! I had a wonderful day. But I did realize how out of shape I am!"
James Dawson
"Great hike with multiple trails so you can make the hike as long as you'd like. Turkey trot has a slight increase in elevation but not too difficult to climb. Great views of the red rocks."
J. Harris
"Stunning views in every direction!
Song birds sang to me. Magpies guided my hike. Every person (and dog) I met was very friendly.
I took the turkey trot trail. As a flatlander visiting the mountains, the incline needed respect and some breaks. But it got easier as the hike continued.
There are some wide and flat areas of the trail. Other areas are narrow and rocky.
The only equipment I had with were hiking boots and my camera.
Plenty of parking. Maps available."
