What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
St. Stanislaus Catholic Church Downtown is lauded for its historic beauty, calming atmosphere, and exceptionally kind and welcoming clergy and parishioners. Visitors appreciate the multiple mass times and the sense of peace it offers. However, the inconvenient location of the restroom in a separate building is a recurring point of note.
"Nice environment. I took my grandson to the catholic store behind this church and when we left at the parking lot he needed to use the restroom so everything was closed at that moment so I knock on the rectory and ask if there was an open restroom in the building to take my grandson. The priest so kind let us use their restroom.... then I realized they were on a meeting and even thou we interrupted they smiled to us and made us feel welcomed 😊
May God bless them."

"Visited here in 11/23 and was a great mass. Mask is optional and I prefer to still wear a mask. I prefer this Church on a Sat or weekday then any other church. Welcoming and friendly and many Mass times to visit and give an hour of your time to the Great ONE!"

"This is one of the oldest Churches here in Modesto. The place is well kept, and comfortable. They have different mass times and in different languages. As far as I know they have Spanish and English but I would not be surprised if they have portugués mass too. The only down fall is the bathroom which is out side of the church in a totally different building. If you want to visit a true jewel of Modesto, you should stop by this church. As for me I hope I see you around."
