Visitors are consistently awestruck by the immense scale and beauty of Park Avenue and Courthouse Towers, often comparing the towering sandstone walls to a natural cityscape. The accessibility of the Courthouse Towers Viewpoint is a major plus, while the Park Avenue Trail offers a more immersive, albeit moderately challenging, hiking experience. Some find the trail's steepness a bit demanding, but the geological spectacle is universally praised.
"The towers are part of a larger collection of tall Entrada Sandstone columns that are part of the Park Avenue section of the park. They are named after its reminiscence to the tall buildings lining Park Avenue in New York City. Some of the formations that are part of this collection include Park Avenue, The Organ, Tower of Babel, Sheep Rock and Three Gossips. The best place to view all the above formations is from the Courthouse Towers Viewpoint and Trailhead."

"Quick stop and go spot inside the park.
The courthouse monolithics make you put the size of these behemoths in perspective.
Make sure to checkout the very interesting plaque here showing a potential fallen arch across the road."

"We stopped at the Courthouse Towers on our way into the park. These towering rock formations are yet another example of the amazing geological sandstone rock formations you will encounter when visiting arches. There is a 1.8 mile moderately difficult (Non Accessible) trail that leads from the parking area back to the Park Avenue Viewpoint. Still no arches yet but these rock formations are well worth the stop."
