What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Central Park Elkhart is praised for its beautiful riverfront location, unique playground, and vibrant event scene, including the Jazz Festival. Visitors enjoy the walking paths and the fish ladder. However, some find the presence of geese and occasional cleanliness issues in restrooms detract from the experience, and the splash pad's availability can be inconsistent.
"This park is very beautiful right in front of the river. Unfortunately the geese have taken over and there is geese poop everywhere you walk. Wish they could do something about that. Otherwise it looks brand new and has a very unique playground, with a splash pad in the middle. For whatever reason the splash pad was closed with no explanation so we were not able to use that. There is an area to walk closer to the water. There is a cool area that they do concerts outside there. The bathroom was very repulsive. A beautiful flower garden. Lots of parking spots in different areas."

"I'm a fishermen. I'm there mostly to access the river. It is a great park. Nice size parking lots. Also the fish ladder is cool. At the right time you can see steelhead and Salomon going through the ladder. It also hooks up to the walkway system along the river."
