"A quaint and beautiful piece of Scandinavia in the heart of Minot, North Dakota. My family and I visited the Scandinavian Heritage Park in the summer of 2025 and were delighted by the Gol Stave Church Museum, the giant Gala Horse, and the magnificent ambience of the Park’s statues, waterfalls, and interesting information about Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland. It is a wonderful place to visit to learn more about “the old country,” to snap some great photos, or to simply take in the beauty of the Park."

"This was probably our favourite thing to do in Minot. In fact, if we lived in Minot, we’d probably go there often for picnics. I cannot even believe that it’s free. The only down thing was we went on a Sunday and the store and information centre were not open. That said we had the absolutely most amazing man in the church who explained so much to us thank you thank you thank you."
