"I have never been more disgusted with a place to live in my life. These Apartments are an nightmare! First off, the elevators NEVER work. It’s a constant struggle, and you can forget about convenience. We’ve reported it countless times, but nothing ever changes. You’ll end up waiting forever just to get to your floor.As if that isn’t bad enough, we have crackheads constantly knocking on our doors, trying to get into people’s apartments. It's become a disturbing daily occurrence. I’ve honestly felt unsafe here more times than I can count. It’s like they rent to absolutely anybody, no matter how dangerous or sketchy they may be. I’m terrified to even open my door anymore.Then there’s the maintenance – what a joke. We’ve called them for issues multiple times, and NOTHING gets fixed. It’s like they don’t care at all about the well-being of their tenants. The building is always filthy, and the smell is unbearable. It’s like a mixture of mold, garbage, and stale air. I feel like I'm living in a dump.Security is equally useless. I’ve reported multiple times about neighbors selling drugs in the building, and nothing ever happens. They just don’t care. It feels like they let anything go, and I’m honestly scared to even walk around the hallways alone.Honestly, don’t waste your time or money here. It’s an absolute disaster. It’s unsafe, unsanitary, and the management is completely incompetent. If you value your peace of mind, find somewhere else to live. This place is a nightmare."

"There are both pros & cons to this place. The pros are that this place is a community. The East African and West African people that live here are very welcoming, accepting of others, and show kindness towards everyone that comes here. Cedar Riverside is probably the safest part of Minneapolis. Violence doesn't occur as much as it used to be. The apts are right next to the blue & green line lightrail & right on the bus line. Now the cons of this place is the management does a poor job of taking care of the tenants needs here. They charge tenants $1000+ just for a 1 bedroom apt. They take advantage of those that are on low income. They close their office off by putting up a curtain so they don't have to talk to anyone. You have to try so many times to get a hold of someone but they are never in the office. There are plenty of things that need to be fixed in the apts including: toilets, kitchen cabinets, sinks, walls, patios, etc. These things are literally damaged & need attention. The buildings are so old you can see they're starting to fall apart. They haven't upgraded the buildings in years. Until they start putting their money towards the things that need to be fixed, these problems are going to keep occurring. They also never ask how you're doing, how your apt is, or to see if you need anything. They keep increasing the rent so that you have to pay more. People still park in front of the M building leaving it hard for drivers to pick up & drop people off. They need new elevators because they keep breaking down. People steal packages from the front lobby all the time so tenants never get their packages. Management say they have nothing to do with that which I think is ridiculous!! They want you to pay all this money to live here but give you the worst living experience possible. Sherman Associates makes over a billion off all their properties but hasn't put a dime into Riverside Plaza since it's been built."

"This place is a nightmare!!! I got bite the first night!! They have BED BUGS EVERYWHERE!! I had to throw all My stuff Away!!! Everyone and if you move there know you will be throwing all your stuff away !!! not even that but they leave it in the hallway for DAYS!! And this place needs to be shut down!!! Because of bed bugs infestation !!! I’m traumatized !! And security lie on people too!! They pick and choose on who they want to pick on!!!"
