"Gallery was spacious, peaceful, and I could enjoy the great artwork free of crowds. Library was even better! I had a great conversation about some of their most treasured books, and then I picked a 1897 copy and read for a while. Gem!"

"Drive from Alexandria to this Middleburg location only to see the Secretariat monument/bronze statue. Was able to go into the library and hear some of the presentation. Driving through the town, it's very charming and has a lot of nice little shops and restaurants.
Want to come back when it's cooler just to stroll along the main road. Thank you for hosting this historic event."
Daleena Barrera
"Some of the exhibits are closed now so the price of admission is half price and free for kids at the museum. The artwork was interesting; the plaque descriptions were very informative. There is currently a special exhibit of Secretariat downstairs in the library that has horseshoes showing how long his stride was that was pretty neat along with other cool (more contemporary) pieces. The library had some really great kids books we sat and read for a bit. Highly recommended (also with kids)."
