"Nice quiet beach area with a park for the kiddos. It’s very clean and the water is almost clear. Not much algae which I liked. The parking lot for this beach area is much bigger than the others you will encounter off of Collins. There are lifeguards and a restroom cabin. There are also showers outside the beach by the restrooms. Parking is not free. You can pay via the mobile app or website or use one of the machines."

"The beach was a little messy for sure during my visit. Nothing like what I remember from my visit about 10+ years ago. The boardwalk was a nice place to take a walk though with stands set up and lots of shady and sunny areas. I didn't spend much time on the beach due to all the construction and clean up that needed to happen. Still worth a QUICK walkthrough lol."
