Reviews Summary
The Fontainebleau Miami Beach offers a glamorous and iconic Miami experience with stunning pools, a private beach, and vibrant nightlife. However, many guests find the high prices for dining and amenities, coupled with occasional issues like renovations and service inconsistencies, detract from the luxury feel. It's a place that delivers on spectacle but requires careful budgeting and expectation management.
"I regret choosing this hotel.
What kind of hotel doesn’t have a vending machine for water/soda but does have one for champagne. And with the bar being packed from people visiting the club the in lobby bar isn’t an option.
We were first given a hotel room next to the elevator that clearly needs maintenance guessing from the loud noises it made, sounding exactly like a table being pulled across a diner floor. I was given a new room without issue when i requested the next day but, it along with the Lamborghini revving outside for almost 6 hours drove me crazy the first night.
My third day my wife and i decided to go swimming to see the main pool had been fully drained over night and a crew hammering away for renovation. At first thought, it wasn’t a big deal considering multiple other pools but the constant hammering sucked. If only we had been given any sort of warning this would be the case, but we were told nothing.
The available paid breakfast was amazing. Too bad it was only available the first day of my 4 day stay. Apparently it’s only available when they think enough people are staying to warrant it, if only that was communicated anywhere."

"I decided to book a room here for my wife's b day. I booked a wraparound suite through another app for a much cheaper price and that was the best thing about this trip. Retail price wise I would not pay that. For this being touted as a 5 star hotel I would actually say that the execution of hotel quality is that of a 3 star. I don't know a 5 star hotel that doesn't have bathrobes until know..... every restaurant is very over priced and the quality is not worth it at all. Went to Arcadia bar and grill twice. First time the server added an $8 tip to the check that we didn't add. He was not a good server. THE 2ND TIME I got the dry aged burger and it was the worst burger I had. FOR $30 I got a barely cooked burger that was pitch black from the city grill and still cold in the center. The burger tasted so bitter like it was cooked on a grill that's never been cleaned before. That bitterness you get from an uncleaned grill is all the flavor you get. I would say that's the main flavor you get with anything grilled on the whole property because I had grilled octopus from LA Cote that had the same bitter taste. Luckily the manager took care of those issues I had. That's the best of it. The best goto spot in the hotel is Chez Bon Bon. I spent over $300 at that one spot alone cuz every other place to eat was not worth the outrageous price. Although I would double check your order because they will add things without you knowing. If you haven't noticed the overall theme of this hotel is too overcharge you for an experience your not getting. There's nothing truly luxurious about this hotel because you feel like they stealing from you after every transaction. THERE A 3 TAXES THAT THEY ADD TO YOUR BILL IN ADITTION TO THE HOTEL FEES. The location of the hotel on miami beach forces you to get food from the hotel. Just save your money and get Uber eats or door dash. Miami is all looks and no substance and the leading example is at this hotel. The overall hotel service was also very bad. Everyone in general seemed like they don't wanna be there and since the tips are automatic on the check no matter what they don't feel the need to be hospitable and show customer service. O and my wallet got stolen at the Lapis spa and we're zero help in even attempting to locate it. You have been thoroughly warned. Spend money here at your own risk."

"This was an amazing experience. Our room was awesome. We could see the beach and the Miami skyline from our balcony. We ate at Hakassan and Mirabella, the food and service were great. Club LIV was awesome!! This was as bucket list item and a twenty fifth anniversary celebration. But I think we need to do this again 😃"
