"Stayed at the Goldenwood in the off season, the rooms are spacious and cozy and have full kitchen, some community charcoal grills, even laundry if staying a bit longer. Expect more mountain cabin amenities, there are TVs and Internet, but don't compare it to a city hotel, you might be able to stream your shows, but it's remote, just unplug and relax and enjoy the breeze through the Aspens. The little town of Mesa is near for food, groceries, and libations. There are some mountain lodges not far up the pass too. Quite in the week with spectacular views of the Book Cliff's and valley below. Weekends still get a decent mountain biking community for enthusiasts and spectators with events held."

"One night summer camp stop. We stopped here on our way to Grand Mesa on Labor Day weekend. We stayed here for a night and had a great spot with a great view. We never saw anyone or got any instructions. The online system made it seem like it would be more particular. Everything was easy. Thank you!"
